This Bachelor of Arts in Popular Music: Production & Performance (B.S.c Hons) Degree is a three-year higher education degree that will provide you with the most comprehensive knowledge related to the world of music production and performance.
With this degree, you will master music production environments, starting with those based on your personal computer then progressing to larger format studios, geared towards professional recording, mixing, and mastering. You will also develop your creative skills - through the composition of original musical repertoires - your organisational skills - to manage the schedule of a music production, and its subsequent release and dissemination - and your critical capacity through the analysis of the why and how of popular music production both in the present day and in its historical evolution, whether in its urban, electronic or pop and rock aspects.
MicroFusa is the most complete music production and sound training center in Spain, with over 30 years of experience, our center has up to seven fully equipped computer rooms with individual workstations based on the reliability of Apple systems, all with standard production software of the music industry (Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Native Instruments, Arturia, Waves, etc.) and MIDI controllers (Launchkey, Launchpad, Ableton Push, etc), nine professional recording studios, with both analog and digital equipment- mixing-consoles (SSL, Midas, Yamaha, Neumann, Shure, Blue, Avalon, TLA, etc), as well as the latest technology, synthesizers, for electronic music production (Moog, Pioneer, Novation, Roland, Korg, etc).
The first two years are held at Microfusa's facilities, to continue on to the third year (Level 6) at the University of Winchester, Winchester, England, access is direct. An excellent opportunity to get to know a recognised musical market.
The qualification obtained is double. The Microfusa Diploma in Music Production together with the Bachelor of Arts in Popular Music: Production and Performance (BA Hons) from the University of Winchester. The Bachelor is a university degree, recognised by the EHEA (European Higher Education Area).

Fundamentals and creation in digital environments
Acquire essential skills in digital technology for music creation, both in virtual environments and in home studios. Develops autonomy in project management from creative and technical perspectives. Subjects and the weekly teaching load of each one:- Music Production.

Requirements
In order to access the University of Winchester, and be able to complete your studies with a Bachelor's degree, the entry requirements are the following:
Academic
- Baccalaureate or equivalent A-levels studies. Students with inferior studies must organize an interview with the school director
- Successful completion of the 2-year diploma gives access to the third university year (top up course) in England, at the University of Winchester.
- English language level IELTS certification with the cutoff score of 6 in speaking and writing.
All of these requirements must be met when registering at the university.
Materials
- The centre provides all the necessary materials for the course, as well as the availability of recording studios for the course studies and to work on projects, practice, and study.
Schedules
- Morning schedule: classes are distributed within a schedule that is between 08:30 am to 14:30 pm, Monday to Friday
- Afternoon schedule: classes are distributed within a schedule that is between 16:00h to 19:00h, and from 16:00h to 22:00h one day a week (not Friday).

Horario | The Diploma in Music Production has the following available schedules: First year.
In addition to the teaching hours, students must take into account the time needed to study and carry out the exercises and/or projects requested during each trimester. Access to classrooms and studios is available for this purpose. The rest of the teaching hours should be used to study and carry out the exercises and/or projects requested during the trimester. For this purpose, access to classrooms and studios are available (depending on the level of the course, one or the other is provided).
Observations;
The methodology used in the course is based on a blended learning format, incorporating activities that evolve in our classrooms and recording studios, supported by our virtual campus. Said activities include collaborative practices, magisterial classes, discussion forums and group projects among others. The course content is available online, accessible 24 hours, on any electronic device (i.e. computer, tablet and mobile). The debate forums will stimulate critical thinking/analysis along with the exchange of ideas. The practices and projects objective is, learning by doing, and working in teams with other students. This is all closely overseen and led by our highly specialized educators, all of whom have extensive experience in the field.
