This Bachelors of Arts degree three-year higher degree will provide you with the most comprehensive knowledge related to the industry of music composition and production. Designed to develop your technical skills and creative competencies as a professional music producer.
With our training, you will master the most advanced music production environments, starting with those based on the personal computer and progressing to larger recording studios, oriented towards professional recording, mixing, and mastering. You will also develop your creative skills as a music producer working with musicians and artists from demo to the final product, your technical skills - to plan and design large-scale productions - and your critical capacity, by analyzing the why and how of music production in today's industry.
MicroFusa is the most complete music production and sound training center in Spain, with over 30 years of experience, our center has up to seven fully equipped computer rooms with individual workstations based on the reliability of Apple systems, all with standard production software of the music industry (Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Native Instruments, Arturia, Waves, etc.) and MIDI controllers (Launchkey, Launchpad, Ableton Push, etc), nine professional recording studios, with both analogue and digital equipment- mixing-consoles (SSL, Midas, Yamaha, Neumann, Shure, Blue, Avalon, TLA, etc), as well as the latest technology, synthesizers, for electronic music production (Moog, Pioneer, Novation, Roland, Korg, etc).
The first 2-years of the course take place at Microfusa, followed by the Top-Up course (one year) at Tileyard Education in London (United Kingdom), which you can access directly. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know a musically recognized market and at the same time live in one of the world's most vibrant cities.
The qualification obtained is double. The Technological Diploma in Music Production from Microfusa, plus the Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons) Commercial Music Producer at Tileyard Education issued by the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. A university degree recognized by the EHEA (European Higher Education Area).

- Music and Sound for Media: This module teaches the essential tools necessary to deliver music, dialogue, and sound for multiple media formats. Students will investigate dialogue editing, noise reduction, and signal processing techniques, as well as study the recording, editing, and processing of sound. The module will also look at composing and sound design for computer games, using industry-standard software and middleware solutions. Classes will be taught in Mac Suites and professional recording facilities at Tileyard Education.
- Business Start-up: This dynamic module provides you with the essential entrepreneurial skills to set up, maintain and develop your own businesses as a producer. Business Start-Up will provide you with the tools to find and reach your market, engage with the business and media, choose the right business structure, manage projects, monetize your fanbase, distribute your music, manage budgets and obtain funding, apply for grants and pitch for work. The module will utilise your music as the driver to turn your creativity into a revenue stream.
- Music Production in Context: This module allows students to contextualise their music by exploring landmarks in the field of audio technology and production. Students will discover the ground-breaking technologies, engineers, and producers that have shaped and created some of the most original music ever created. Alongside this historical journey, this module will look at new forms of technology and postulate where the future of music production is heading.
- Working with Music in the Community: The module enables students utilise their music to make a real difference in a community. This ‘real-world’ scenario will see students working with young people, community, and business stakeholders. Students will develop a range of interpersonal and professional skills to deliver an exciting production-led project that has the power to transform lives.
- Creative Investigation / Final Project: The final module of the course allows students to develop an individual research-based response to a set brief. The scope of this project will enable students to develop their professional practice by creating solo or collaborative work with limited guidance. Students will critically analyse the issues which arise from the creative practitioner's relationship with audiences, clients, markets, environments, users, consumers, and participants.

Requirements
In order to be able to access Tileyard Education and finalize your studies with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, you must meet the following requirements: Academic
- Baccalaureate or equivalent A-levels studies. Students with inferior studies must organize an interview with the school director
- Successful completion of the 2-year diploma gives access to the third university year (top up course) in England, at the Solent University.
- English language level IELTS certification with the cutoff score of 6 in speaking and writing.
All of these requirements must be met when registering at the university.

- The centre provides all the necessary materials for the course, as well as the availability of recording studios for the course studies and to work on projects, practice, and study.

- Morning schedule: 08:30 am to 14:30 pm, Monday to Friday
- Afternoon schedule: 16:00 pm to 19:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and from 16:00 pm to 22:00 pm, one day per week

The second year of the course will be focused on the techniques needed to learn how to operate the equipment in a live performance. You will work in-depth on aspects related to Music Business including copyright management, intellectual property, representation, management, distribution, and promotion. The final project will include preparing a live performance and the promotion of artists and/or bands of MFRecords.

The methodology used in the course is based on a blended learning format, incorporating activities that evolve in our classrooms and recording studios, supported by our virtual campus. Said activities include collaborative practices, magisterial classes, discussion forums and group projects among others. The course content is available online, accessible 24 hours, on any electronic device (i.e. computer, tablet and mobile). The debate forums will stimulate critical thinking/analysis along with the exchange of ideas. The practices and projects objective is, learning by doing, and working in teams with other students. This is all closely overseen and led by our highly specialized educators, all of whom have extensive experience in the field.
