Syllabus

Fundamentals and creation in digital environments

Acquire essential skills in digital technology for music creation, both in virtual environments and in home studios. Develops autonomy in project management from creative and technical perspectives. Subjects and the weekly teaching load of each one:
  • Music Production.
  • Musical Language 1.
  • Branding & Marketing.
  • Songwriting and Lyrics 1.
  • Production Analysis 1.
  • Personalized tutorials.
  • DAW 1 (Ableton Live, Logic Pro).
  • Projects 1.
*Optional and additionally, it is possible to contract a Spanish course.
School workstations and recording studios are available for students for self-study and practice of concepts and complete course assignments. The spaces offered are allocated according to the course requirements and development.

Advanced and real projects

You can also pursue your career and obtain a university degree in the UK. This will give you a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, depending on your choice. Our Music Production Diploma has the necessary quality recognition to be able to access directly to the third and final year of the degree, in British universities:

Requirements

Academic

  • Recommended, Baccalaureate or equivalent A-levels studies. Students with inferior studies must organize an interview with the school director
  • Successful completion of the 2-year diploma gives access to the third university year (top up course) in England, at at one of our partner universities. View our University degrees section to consult the degrees (BA Hons - BSc Hons).

In order to be able to access one of our partner universities and attain a University Degree the access requirements are; Baccalaureate (any modality), English language level IELTS certification with the cutoff score of 6 in speaking and writing. Lastly, not to forget the successful completion of all the Diploma subjects, in accordance with Microfusas requirements. All of these requirements must be met when registering at the university.


Materials

  • The centre provides all the necessary materials for the course, as well as the availability of recording studios for the course studies and to work on projects, practice, and study.

Schedules

The Diploma in Music Production has the following available schedule:
First year.
  • Afternoon schedule: classes are distributed within a schedule that is between 15:30h to 20:30h.
The definitive class schedules are published at the beginning of the course.
 
In addition to the teaching hours, students must take into account the time needed to study and carry out the exercises and/or projects requested during each trimester. Access to classrooms and studios is available for this purpose. The rest of the teaching hours should be used to study and carry out the exercises and/or projects requested during the trimester. For this purpose, access to classrooms and studios are available (depending on the level of the course, one or the other is provided).
Observations;
  • Maximum number of places available: 24
  • Applications are treated on a first-come-first-serve basis
  • This course requires a minimum of 8 students
The methodology used in the course is based on a blended learning format, incorporating activities that evolve in our classrooms and recording studios, supported by our virtual campus. Said activities include collaborative practices, magisterial classes, discussion forums and group projects among others. The course content is available online, accessible 24 hours, on any electronic device (i.e. computer, tablet and mobile). The debate forums will stimulate critical thinking/analysis along with the exchange of ideas. The practices and projects objective is, learning by doing, and working in teams with other students. This is all closely overseen and led by our highly specialized educators, all of whom have extensive experience in the field.

Option: Full payment upfront
  • Reservation of place in course 1: 300€
  • 1st year (single payment) 3: 6.075€
The total amount for the 1st year with full payment upfront = 6.375€
Observations
1. The deposit for the reservation of your place in the course is non-refundable. past 14 days after the course is contracted.
3. The deadline to make the first payment or single payment is the 15th of September.
 
The cost includes vast educational materials of the school, available on the virtual campus, as well as, books (physical or electronic), requested from the manufacturers of the official courses, as well as the exam fees for said courses.
 
The exam fees of Microfusa and of the official courses also are included, with the possibility of repeating an exam each semester, in the case a student does not successfully pass an exam on their first attempt.

  • 8 instalments: 611€ (November to June)

2. To access the financing service the following is imperative: Spanish bank account information. TIN interest rate of 5%, 5,11% TAE. The payments will be debited directly by the bank or cashier by the 5th of each month, except the first payment that will be done by a one-off transfer or in cash.
