Description
This is the first step to getting you started in music production in a structured way. This course will be highly useful whether you are starting from scratch or have been involved in production for some time and want to put your projects in order.
The course provides you with the fundamentals needed to get started in music production, beginning by defining the different roles of music creators in the contemporary music scene, the theory behind the creation of musical ideas (starting with beats) as well as the use of loops, samplers, effects units and other devices in the context of production software or DAWs. Concerning practices, you will use one of the most common tools in this field, Ableton Live, one of the leading digital audio workstations in contemporary music production.
This level has a duration of one term (11 weeks). Classes are held two days a week. The training is complemented with access to our facilities (studios and classrooms) to carry out the work related to the proposed projects, in addition to the exercises conducted in our virtual campus, which is available for the students of this course.
Successful completion of this course allows you to continue your studies, directly accessing the second term of our Music Production Certification, which is dedicated to advanced production with audio loops, creating melodic arrangements, and using the recording studio to capture vocals.
