The Electronic Music Production certification provides you with the best training itinerary to learn and master the tools of music creation in depth.

Including the use of DAWs (this course is based on Ableton Live, one of the leading programs for electronic music production.), audio and MIDI sequencing, the use of virtual instruments, synthesis and sampling, and mixing and processing.

This course is structured in three parts, each with a duration of one term (11 weeks). As it is an online course, all of the activities are carried out on our virtual campus, accessible from any personal device, whether it is a computer, tablet, or mobile phone, and in this way you can manage your time according to your needs and availability so as to have a satisfactory and complete learning experience.

On our virtual campus, you will find the necessary content and resources for you to follow the course - such as multimedia books or video tutorials - as well as practical activities and the development and tutoring of your musical projects by our expert teachers.

Use of Ableton Live
  • Production concepts.
  • Fundamentals of sound and production equipment.
  • Workstations (DAW).
  • Electronic musical instruments and types of synthetic sounds.
  • Sequencers and MIDI programming.
  • Synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines.
  • Recording, effects, and MIDI processing.
  • Introduction to mixing and the use of audio processors.

  • Physics of sound.

The following devices are required to carry out the course:

  • Audio interface (two analog inputs and outputs).
  • Studio headphones.
  • MIDI music controller (keyboard).
  • DAW Ableton Live. Suite versión.

*Possibility of acquiring educational licenses (between 40% and 50% discount).

Weekly commitment

Recommended number of hours of personal study of subjects and practice:

  • Between twelve and eighteen hours per week, depending on the programmed activities.

Schedules

This course is developed entirely online, and represents a radically different experience from that offered by a face-to-face course since neither classmates nor teachers are located in the same space nor do they coincide at the same time.

All the activities, both individual and collective, are carried out in a virtual learning environment, which is moderated by a number of specialized teachers with extensive professional experience in the subjects taught. These teachers provide constant and dynamic support, ensuring a complete, stimulating, and satisfying learning experience.

Concerning the evaluation of all the activities, they are compiled in a book of notes that each student can consult to evaluate their progress.

Given that all activities are evaluated, it is essential for the student to maintain a firm and continuous dedication throughout the course, a commitment that will be reinforced and supported by the follow-up of tutors and the school itself.
